Accountability... What I Ate Today...

Recommended Posts

It sure if there is a specific area for this thread... If so moderators please move it there... ButI need to start being accountable for what I eat. I had regained about 40 pounds from my lowest, and I don't want it to be 50. My lifestyle has changed to a very seditary one with small bouts of activity... and no real schedule... Ah life of a truck driver (who had RNY)... Also since my husband has also had RNY and follows my lead when eating (for the most part) and has also regained I really need to refocus myself... So I thought I would start a thread so I could keep track and have to bare my good and bad habits.

So far today...

Breakfast 1-1.5 egg (hard to measure since we use eggs in a box)... 2 maple flavored sausages... 1 tbs of cream cheese

post-23568-13813810089758_thumb.jpg

snack 3 small crackers w/peanut butter

coffee (1/2 Decaf : 1/2 full caf) 72 oz

Snack 3 small crackers w/brie cheese

And scheduled for dinner is sweet potato w/onion for veggy and a cheedarwurst.

Good for you! After my session yesterday wih the nutritionist, he said you have to be accountable and writing it down is the best way. I started today and it has kept me from snacking. Good luck!

Not like I should... We 'lump' our loads when we can... but walking... I would need to in a truck stop parking lot, a rest area, or at a shipper/receiver. My husband walks SLOW due to foot problems and that's just the way he is... Yeah excuses I know... I need to figure out something... One step at a time though... Or so I tell myself :)

Well so far today... Just the tuna out of the tuna salad ready to eat from Bumble Bee... Then 6 Melba crackers with Brie cheese on top... Going to fix a salad now... Then if we have the time going to BBQ some flat Iron steaks tonight with cottage cheese and a peach for dessert...

I must admit, I'm not just mindlessly eating now that I have to tattle on myself... LOL... I actually think about if I REALLY want that or not now :)

I used to use My Plate from Livestrong.com... It's just another place I need to log into, and time is one thing I don't have a lot of... Thought I would "put it out there" here...

Up at 2am to drive... Only coffee until 0600, then a peach sliced into some cottage cheese... Now to sleep for a bit...

One step at a time. You walk oneblock one week next week it's 2 blocks. Don't over do it. Take your time.

Looking forward to seeing you out there.

Today I was dealing with a bunch of frustration and boredom... Yeah, didn't do so good...

Cottage cheese w/SF jelly mixed in... Peanutbutter and a sliced up banana... Lettuce and a bunch of frenches fried onions... And to top it off... dinner from Panda Express!!

I don't feel any less stressed, or any less bored... Sigh...

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
