I completely agree with you Jessica. We should start a September thread for post-po. We can definately support each other all the way through this amazing change.

I will ask about having our thread moved in Novenmber don't want to start all over and lose the beginning history :)

Good luck and congratulations to everybody! I hope you're all great! I'm so nervous and ready to get surgery over. I weight 280lbs right now. I haven't lost any pre-op. I gained 15 in the last 2 months. Ugg. Can't seem to drop it like I could a few years ago. My doctor only requires a 4 day liquid diet, though I'm considering adding a few days for good measure.

And as for a pre op diet my surgeron doesn't require one. Just eat light the day before surgery and have a bowel movement. Sounds pretty easy. Lol :) I have ONE week left!! 7 days!! Eeeeeee!

So Surgery is on the 10th and they were supposed to call me today with my surgery time. Guess what no call, I called the office twice and left a message with the surgical nurse who schedules the surgeries and the PA who works with the doctor. And nothing, I am sure everything is ok but in the back of my mind I am freaking out thinking they forgot about me or my surgery was never actually scheduled or something BAHHHHHHHHHHHH, so kind of freaking out a BIT.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
