Sorry for the late response but yes i have 2 staples at each incision. I get them out on the 13th so 9 days post op. Im 1 week post op today weighed myself yesterday im down 15 pounds. Since i left the hospital. Woo hoo!!

Yes ive been walking not alot though cause my back starts hurting really bad. I have my follow up on the 13th and to get the staples out so hopefully that will help

So i had surgery on the 4th...im 5 days post op now. Ive been in so much pain especially under my left rib cage. I think its gas....i havent had a bowel movement either. My surgeon said all clear liquids till i see him. Food doesnt even sound appealing to me. Just drinking ice water...cranberry, diet snapple jello and sf popsicles. Im kinda scared when i have to start the soft foods..lol. but on a good note im down 12 pounds in those 5 days.

Hi everyone..real name is Deborah. I had my surgery yesterday. It went good. My starting weight was 268...my pre op weight was 242....they weighed me last night and i was 249, they said normal because all of the iv fluids and everything. Well i just got home...im sore! Hopefully my medicine starts kicking in.

Hi...downey,ca. I will be having my surgery in harbor city kaiser. Have my appt tomorrow with my surgeon.

I have kaiser and we are required to take a 12 week class...during that time u do all ur blood work and loose ur 10%. I started may 24th....i lost 20 pounds. I have my appt with the surgeon on aug 31st. Hopefully i get my surgery date.
