Food For Thought

Last night 3 hours after dinner (2oz of salmon) I ate a frozen yogurt thinking I can have yogurt why not freeze it. Well I had the worst pain! I didn't have dumping or vomit but if would have helped me I wish I did! :(

Then today for Breakfast I ate a scrambled egg with cheese, and I realized I get so full with less than 2 oz of egg than I do with all 2 oz of salmon. I don't get it! Egg gets me sooo full.

Can anyone relate to either?

I tried egg and it felt like it got stuck and only a few bites filled me up. I think because it's very dense and kind of dry. I have heard that poached eggs go down much easier - and they aren't as dry...

I have to say that I have similar experiences. I can only eat a limited amount of dense Proteins like meat, but eggs often dont fill me up. I can eat a cup of chopped vegetables but again an apple will stuff me after a few well chewed bites. I am about 2 months out and it is always been like this even when eating pureed foods. I have to be careful not to overeat at times. Wierd huh????

Yeah I have to super careful and measure everything I'm scared of over eating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
