Twins is amazing news! You will need to be supervised very closely I'm sure... I just found out I am pregnant (dont know how far along) and I am 7 month post-op. Luckily I have been hitting all of my Protein targets without getting sick etc and am seeing my surgeon and nutrition team July 15th,.. Id love to get in touch with you on Facebook if I can so I can follow your journey... best of luck!

I'm 4 months pregnant now and loving it. Haven't worked out in almost 2 months I've been exhausted from being prego and getting ready to move.... but glad made it healthy and strong with no complications. 2 more trimesters here I come. Also started worked out again since some energy is returning, finally almost to onederland

To those who got pregnant within a year of gastric bypass.... did anyone have complications with the pregnancy or labor and delivery? Either with their 1st child or a few later. I am considering home birth which is why I ask.

With me...it's low Iron & hypoglycemia. If you don't have any complications, there's no reason why you can't have a home birth.

I had hyperemesis, pre term labor and c section. But, those complications could have been due to twin birth.

Hi! I’m 2 months post op and I’m also 13 weeks pregnant. My drs tested me two weeks before surgery and apparently was already pregnant but it didn’t show up on my test cus I was too early. I been struggling myself excessive saliva and mucus and it’s been making me sick and hard to stay hydrated. I can’t even eat really all dairy makes me sick and I can’t handle meats yet. All I’ve been able to put in my body is water?
