  15. I had my babies on Monday. Eva (4.07lbs) and Aida (3.13lbs). They were born at 34 weeks after my Water broke. No problems except learning how to eat and gain weight! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  16. Its manageable but still risky! Trust me, Im there now. And I know others in the situation too. Its not worth it to not wait till 12-18 months. They say it for a reason. I wouldnt wish what Ive been through on anyone. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  17. I am 31 weeks now, and am pulling through. What does my spouse think of what? Twins? RNY? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

  20. The fetus uses all your stored Vitamins, not necessarily what you eat. I slept the first 12 weeks. Around week 15, I started getting some energy. Are you still able to take vitamins? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  21. Oh, as long as those few bites stay down you are okay! I thought you could not tolerate any solids. I was the same way, even after I was dilated. 3-4 bites and I was done. As time goes on, being pregnant your body will let you eat more. I left my surgeon after he tried to redilate my pouch to a regular persons sized stomach. I see my regular ob and a high risk ob. After the first trimester of loosing alot of weight, nausea, and vomiting. I feel so much better. I sent you a private message with my contact info if you have any questions! What part of NY are you in? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  22. I was dilated about the same time. I was informed the earlier the better. So about 6 weeks. Can you eat slider foods without vomiting? Mashed potatoes, Jello, etc? Or you vomit everything you eat? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  23. I try and drink the nomal 64 ozs per day. Im forcing myself still at 6 months but the dr said do what I have to do, so its mainly 1/2 Water mixed with 1/2 juice, milk, and things like that. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  24. I lived in Long Island, until a few months ago. Now, I live in Florida. Why wont they redilate you? Doing so while pregnant is not dangerous. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

  26. Also, my Dr wanted to redilate my pouch to normal stomach size because he was uneducated. I refused to have my pouch redilated to go through RNY again after having the baby. BUT if you have a stricture now then get your dilation but dont let them say they are going to make your pouch bigger than the usual rny pouch. As time went on, and I am 6 months now I could start to eat more and more and not gain weight. Many people say their pouch adjust while pregnant so you can eat for the baby and as soon as you deliver, your back at the quick fullness that you used to be. Please stay HYDRATED. If you become dehydrated then you vomit more and irritate your pouch which then causes more vomiting and then becomes a cycle. So that and Vitamins are the most important thing. Believe me.... our bodies are amazing and you can have a healthy baby. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
