In the hospital I was given broth, ice pop and water. When I got home I lived on for 2 wks. soup, yogurt, basically all liquids then advanced slowly to other soft mushy stuff. I am 10 wks post op. now and introduce 1 new food a day but I am learning what I can and can not have !!! Your doctor should be providing a schedule and diet for you to follow. Good luck to you and your hubby :)

Good luck tomorrow! I had my surgery 6/13 I was given broth, popcicles, jello, and crystal lite. When I came home I was able to have low fat yogurt sugar free pudding, and low fat creamed soups, and protein shakes. Keep us updated and good luck!

broth, Water, juices, Popsicles were the best!!! And I was able to drink small amounts of Protein shakes!
