    Mushie Food Help!

Ok I am almost 3 weeks post op, I had my RNY by pass on 6/13 and I am having a terrible time finding things that dont make me nauseous. Does anyone have any ideas? What does everyone eat at this stage. I had no problem on liquids, infact i could down the jello, puddings, and liquids no problem but it seems that as soon as there is some kind of consistance i get nauseous. Please let me know what you were eating at this stage considering I have 6 more weeks of this!! All help will be appreciated!!!

  4. Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer I am a 34 year old mother of 3. I had my surgery on 6/13 and was out of the hospital on 6/15. My starting weight was 304 this was before starting the optifast, has anyone else experienced optifast 2 wks before their surgery? I have my 2wk follow up on 6/28 and cant wait to get graduated to mushies! I am sick of liquids and I often find myself hungry alot. Is this normal? I thought I was not suppose to experience hunger. I am having a lot of pain on my left side and at times it is unbearable, is anyone else experiencing this? Please let me know that I am not the only one with these issues.

You Arent That Big Expression !

Oh yes I hear this all the time considering I am 5'10, most people never believed me when i said i weighed 304, they said i carried it well, what the hell does that mean????? I am doing this not only for the weight but to get off the 12 medications that i am on, I am only 34 years old and I WAS on 2 different blood pressure medications to keep my blood pressure down. The key word is WAS I am off my bp meds and am only taking 3 prescribed meds to date, they rest are vitamins! That my friend is a reason to have the surgery!!!

    Lost My Best Friend

I am so sorry! I know what it is like to lose a friend on those terms and it is very hard. Dont lose sight of your goal and stay away from the snacks! I know that is hard coming from an emotional eater myself!! It is not worth eating the snacks, it will only set you back and hurt yourself more. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
