Preparing For The Big Day!

Hello! This is my first post as I am getting ready for the first day of my new way of life! I have been approved for surgery and have a preop appt on June 13 and surgery date on June 28! I am so excited...and just a bit nervous! I look forward to posting here many times to come and think this is a great place to chat, share stories and get to know other people going through the same things! Can anyone recommend any other good sites like this one?

I believe one is called obesity help. I use my fitness pal app to registery food and excercise. I also bought gastric by pass for dummies for a reference book, along with some cook books. I hope that helps you good luck.

Thanks...I will check that site out. I also have the weight loss surgery for dummies...think I am going to read it again as it has been awhile. I also read another great book...life after gastric bypass surgery! Truly inspirational. Anyone in here from NC?
