Pre Op Testing Tomorrow

Pre-op testing tomorrow and surgery in 6/4. I have no idea how much i weigh today, but my last weigh in was 245. Today I got two separate comments on how it looks like i am losing weight, felt good. I have seen alot of comments on pre op liquid diets, my doctor said no, but I have to drink the wonderful liquid to clean me out the day before, (so looking forward to that... Not !!!). Have been eating my favorite things and only 1 left on the list . Best luck to anyone this week going through surgery !!!!

My doctor just told me to lose a minimum of 20 pounds prior to my surgery. No weight loss - no surgery. But she never specified any kind of diet. Not that I'm complaining mind you! I lost 35 pounds in four months prior to my surgery and it was a great way to prepare for the post-op diet.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery!!!
