My coordinator called Bcbs after their conference call which lasted over an hour, I was approved.

When I started the process I called and spoke to the nurse over Bariatrics. I asked what I need to do to qualify. We talked for a few min and I asked for a phone number in case is had any questions... After my second apt I called and told her I had my second apt and validated my status. After my third apt I called her and validated my status and asked who would be reviewing my case... I asked her if I could call and tell her it was being submitted.

Tuesday I called her and left a message that it was coming. She called me on Wednesday said she would be looking for it and try to pull it. Today I am approved.

Now I am waiting for my surgeons scheduler to call. If they don't call by 3:30 I'm calling them.
