What are some lunch ideas with good amounts of protein. What is your favorite lunch? Surgery date was 10/28. Entering Soft foods now. Thanks.

I had surgery 10/28. My start weight was 227, ht 5'8. I currently weigh 195. I had a 2 week long stall. Finally loosing again. I'm probably going to be a slow loser, but that's ok with me. Only 50 more lbs till I reach my goal. Good luck!

I'm 5 weeks post op today. I was able to eat 1 scramble egg this morning, Is that too much at one time?

Yes I'm on omperzole- spelling 40 mg, 15 days post op. Think I may stick with full liquids a little longer. Thanks for the reply.

Has anyone experienced pain in throat to stomach when trying to eat pureed foods? I have a terrible burning feeling, and feels like elephants on my chest. Just after a few bites. Thanks!

Good to hear from you, I was worried about you. I just got my jp drain removed. I feel so much better. I go back to work tomorrow. Doctor said everything looks good. Down 12 lbs.

Thank you!! I haven't tried a full yogurt yet. I take out half which is 3oz. I've heard so many people express how your sleeve is numb, don't want to chance blowing a staple.

I'm 9 days post op and can eat a small jello @ one time. I don't want to hurt my new sleeve.

I'm assuming this is very normal. My stomach is constantly making noises, bubble guts, dogs growling sound. I've been burping more, and have non-painfull gas all day long. I'm 7 days post op today. Stomach is in it's healing stage right now. If you're not sure about something, call your nurse. Best of luck to you!
