Tummy troubles.

It's wondering if any of you have had the bubbleguts since surgery. I am 6 days post-op and have basically been drinking all my water that I need and slowly adding a bit of protein in my diet. Ever since this change has happened my stomach has been nothing but upset. It feels like I want to have diarrhea, and I might have a little bit of gas, but nothing comes out. I just don't know if these pains/bloating was normal. I've had no nausea or vomiting. Has anyone else felt this?

Yes this is very normal. I had the bubble guts for a month out and even now when I eat something it bubbles a little but I don't notice it as much. It does get much much easier from day to day and week to week.

I'm assuming this is very normal. My stomach is constantly making noises, bubble guts, dogs growling sound. I've been burping more, and have non-painfull gas all day long. I'm 7 days post op today. Stomach is in it's healing stage right now. If you're not sure about something, call your nurse. Best of luck to you!
