Different pre-op diet and gas pain

Because there seems to be a great difference among sleevers regarding gas pains after surgery, I am wondering if there is any correlation between a longer term liquid or clear liquid pre op and the severity of gas pains. Are they more severe if the patient just had clear liquids for the day before surgery? Just wondering. Being sleeved October 22.

Likely not. Remember the "gas pain" is from the gas 'pumped' into your abdominal cavery to give the surgeon more roon to work around in there. Nothing to do with gas or anything else WITHIN the GI tract!
