Slow day for me today. Only got in 2.75 miles today. That puts me at 14.92 miles so far. I probably won't get much in tomorrow. Going to take my Mother-in-law over to Dallas to catch a flight. I am gonna check out Performance Bike while there though. Have a great weekend everyone!

You' date=' Meliss000 and I are all in Colorado. What do you mean your work in Austin? As in Austin, TX? You "commute" from Denver to Austin?

Welcome to the challenge, yeah that snow was a tad early for my taste, but meh, with the way our weather has been I wasn't too surprised by it. Maybe it will freeze some of the mud. ;)[/quote']

Yes I commute to Austin, Tx on a weekly basis. I'm home on the weekends. We could meet for a nice ride sometime.

That would be awesome, hopefully we will still get to experience fall... But who knows in Colorado!

OMG thank you! I look somedays and kinda feel like quitting!

We need to come up with a name!

By the skin of our teeth girls?

With a wing and a pray?

The any slower and we'd be going backwards posse?? :P

no need to sit alone. I already have a kid's table going. So far its me, lilgemini, and zenandnow. You're welcome to join! :P

Yep, there I am, going along at a snail's pace! 2 miles yesterday for a grand total of 6.6 miles as of 10/4. I have managed to keep up on my Squatober challenge, though, and as of yesterday was at 405.

Going to try to get on my borrowed bike today; looks like I'm going to have to get a lot of gear! Haven't been on a bike in forever, so I'll need a helmet & whatever else one is supposed to wear to ride nowadays.

And Laura-ven - just for the record, I like the "Going Backwards Posse". It sounds kinda gansta. You know, like a bunch of wimpy white ladies should sound!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
