Got the word this morning from insurance....I'm approved! I am crying tears of joy I finally get a chance at being a healthier me. Now I'm so nervous about this journey

Congratulations. I have to wait 4 more months until I complete my 6 month medically supervised diet before my paperwork can be submitted. I almost feel like I can't wait any longer. lol Again, way to go.

I had to do the same...it seemed almost like a lifetime. I just let go of thinking about it and started focusing on other stuff. It was the hardest thing to do, because I seene everyone else getting approved and I still had a long road to go. But it will fly by so fast and then your papers are being submitted. Then starts the long wait for approval or what seems to be a long wait. Mine was submitted on the 29th of September and I got my answer this morning. Good luck to you

Congrats Erica!! I just got my approval this morning too!! When are you scheduled for surgery? I am going in on Monday (16 Sep)! So excited and nervous all at the same time! On day 3 of my liquid pre-op diet..its not as hard as I thought
