Why where you in ICU????

I had high blood pressure in the 200's. I'm on med. for it now. SO I'm doing better, 48lbs down in almost a month.

I'm 2.5 weeks out and I tryed bake fish and it won't go down does anybody have any Protein ideals besides shakes

tuna Mayonnaise (low fat mayo), baked Beans, mushrooms, low fat cheese. Also blend in some milk powder. Milk has protein. I have a proper latte every morning and an ovaltine at night before bed. That's about 15g right there just with those 2 drinks.< /p>

I also was sleeved August 27th, 330 pre surgery and today I'm 301.4. I can't even imagine what it's going to feel like to step on the scale and see it starting with a 2.

I was sleeved 8/27 as well. I started at 324 and am now 285.. It is so weird seeing that 2 there. I've been 300+ for 7 years or more now, so it's a wonderful feeling!!! Good luck to you!

That made me smile when I read that about starting with a 2....it is definitely those moments that make this great. Congratulations so far and good luck with your next step on the scale ????

Thanx I'll definitely try that.

There are glycerine swabs that they give you at the hospital in lemon flavor that does the trick. I found some at a local medical supply store.

I couldn't eat tilapia or shrimp either. I tried Swai and it seemed fine.

Had mine in 8/26 and feeling 100% back to normal. Haven't had any nausea since the hospital' date=' have been going out and doing things, incisions all healed, no pain...[/quote']

I was sleeved 8/26 too and am totally back to normal- not getting in all my Protein and liquids every single day but for the most part i'm pretty darn close! I feel grrreat- only wish I could have real food- in the pureed stage :/

I was sleeved 8/19.

Concerns: I still have a pulling pain on the inside of my largest incision. Sometimes shooting pains. I get nauseous when I eat sometimes and sometimes start dry heaving.

Good news: I was stalled for 10 days and scale started moving again! I can drink liquids with no problems. Able to take a nice big sip.

I too was sleeved on 8/29. I have seen some early August sleevers say the third week is always a stall-out, but that after that they start losing again. Good luck, and just keep going

.

I was sleeved on 8/29 and I have been at a stall since 9/09 really weird. However, I campare myself to the bigest losers participants they loose so much the first two week and then struggle between the 3-6 weeks.lol.I hope that my body is just getting adjusted. Keeping a postive attitude has helped me through this part:)

Are y'all getting on the scale everyday? If so why??? If your on a stall take the batteries out of the scale and throw them across the street. If you keep seeing that stall every morning when you step up on the scale it's going to keep you discouraged. I weighed Sunday for the first time in two week. Keep off the scale!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
