  1. I also was sleeved August 27th, 330 pre surgery and today I'm 301.4. I can't even imagine what it's going to feel like to step on the scale and see it starting with a 2.

  3. I've had 2 cat scans with contrast blood work n everything else. There's nothing physically wrong with me according to my Dr.

  5. I've had several er visits since my sleeve on 8-27. I even had another surgery several days after bc I had such bad shoulder pain. Everything was ok, no leak. I don't know if I'm a big baby or what. The only thing that has worked is the intravenous dilaudid. I'm honestly considering medical marijuana (obtained illegally of course) to make the pain stop. Is anyone else having truly horrible pain?

  7. Yes they've been giving me so grab only when I ask for it tho. They have me on dilaudid pump, that's what's making me nauseous. Just passed my swallow test too

  12. It went very well! I'm in pain at the incision site and I'm nauseous , minimal gas pain in my chest. I'll be going home tomorrow. I can't believe it's done and over with already.
  13. I got sleeved yesterday and I'm doing good. Pain in the incision area and a little nauseous also some gas pain in my chest. I haven't went for my swallow test yet but it should be soon. I just can't believe it happened. I'm looking forward to the future!

  15. Good luck to you,I'm also getting sleeved tomorrow the 27th!
  16. I'm happy that you made the decision to take your life back. I'm getting sleeved tomorrow. Best of luck to you!
  17. Wow, I have so many mixed emotions about tomorrow.I can't believe this day is finally here. I did horrible on my pre op diet. I didn't lose any weight, my own fault of course. A close friend of mine recently was sleeved on July 8th and had a leak. She was in the hospital for 20 days, released for 2 days and back in again. She had to have 2 stents placed to block the hole. But our doctors, body, healing and everything else is different. My family keeps asking me why I'm still going to get this done after she's had so many problems. I'm excited for it. My life will be cut short if I don't have this surgery. That feeling when your back is up against a wall. I've never been under anaesthesia before so that's making me a little nervous, I've only had local and had a bad reaction with it. Had 2 epidurals and projectile vomited with both so I'll make them aware of that tomorrow. I know the end will justify the means, I just have to get my head straight again.
  18. You look absolutely amazing. Tears came to my eyes when I saw this. I'm hoping I can share pics like this one day.

  21. Congrats milly! I'm so excited for you! It's been a long hard road I'm sure. I'm waiting for my surgery date now.
  22. Mil, you're not a bad person at all for feeling that way. A lot of people do not feel the end justifies the means. My father has a huge issue that I'm doing this bc he's scared. This surgery is no riskier than others, plus it's done laparoscopicly. I had my first consultation a few years back and I had no support so I never went thru with it. But now I have a great support system and I'm just waiting to hear when my date is. I have 2 friends that had it done in the last 3 weeks. The one girl is already down 25 pounds. I'm so excited. This is going to change my life! Don't let anyone rain on your parade.
