What is your theme song?

So call me strange, but when I find myself being self-defecting, I pick a "theme song" that helps me get through the moment. It's a quick way to elevate my mood and get me moving in a positive direction. If you had a theme song, what would it be? My current one is 'Pour Some Sugar Me' by Poison. :-)

I guess the one song that has been my theme song has been "All of Me" by John Legend...reason why my boyfriend of 3 years sang it too me multiple times to me even when I was in the hospital.

The 2 songs I'm really loving right now are listed below.

(I always loved these songs when I started a diet - but now, with WLS scheduled it feels like my prayers are being answereed in ways never ever imaginable. My dream songs are coming true)

1. I'm coming out -Diana Ross

Sample Lyrics:

I'm coming out

I want the world to know

I got to let it show

There's a new me coming out

And I just had to live

And I wanna give

I'm completely positive

I think this time around

I am gonna do it

Like you never knew it

Ooh, I'll make it through

2. Get this party started

Get this party started on a Saturday night

Everybody's waiting for me to arrive

Sendin' out the message to all of my friends

We'll be looking flashy in my Mercedes Benz

I got lots of style, check my gold diamond rings

I can go for miles if you know what I mean

I'm comin' up so you better get this party...

Glitter in the air- pink

This surprises most people, LOL!!

My playlist while working out....way too many to list....but here are the highlights and go to's.

She Wants Revenge: Must Be The One, These Things, Animal Attraction

My Ruin: Terror

Otep: Apex Predator

Korn: Freak on a Leash

Dope: Addiction, Dirty World

Disturbed: Down With The Sickness

and number one.....

Mechanical Moth: Black Queen Style, Obsession

and sometimes I'm in the mood for a little PINK!

Another one for me is "This is my now" by Jordin Sparks!!! I love that song too. My first choice is still "Silhouette" by Nikki Flores!!! Both are awesome songs especially for me going thru all these changes!!!

Oddly enough my go to is "I fucking hate you" by Godsmack. "The pride" by five finger death punch (especially the lyrics "I've got the scars to prove that only the strong survive")"2nd Sucks" by A Day To Remember. The list is endless! 21 days till surgery!

If I Can Dream by Elvis. Yes, I am only 30, but the first time I heard that song, within the first 30 seconds I knew if was going to be my favorite song forever.

I am Beautiful by Christina Aguilera!

I am Beautiful by Christina Aguilera!

This is a perfect song! LOVE LOVE it!!!

I'm all about Roar by Katy Perry these days. Also on my list is Firework, Stronger, This Girl is on Fire, and strangely enough Radioactive and Demons. The last two mainly because I'm trying to improve me over all not just my weight issues. And those two songs speak to me loud and clear.

YASSSS!!!

Bow down- beyonce lol

I would have to say "DIVA" by Beyoncé.

"Now now now diva is the female version of a hustla, of a hustla, of a of a hustla".

Both the song and the video give me POWER!
