Good luck sleeve sisters...my surgery is at 1:30 today. See you on the other side. Wish me luck!

How are you doing? I'm tomorrow. Any tips for me?

Don't know what the problem is,just had my sleeve 3wks. ago i hear people talk about how after surgery they go for weeks not wanting anything to eat, but seems like all i think about is eating & i can eat quite a bit before i feel full, i even eat 2 hands full of m&ms today didn't make me sick, i still crave sweets. So discouraged, can someone help.

Wow m&m's I wouldn't even go there I'm to afraid to cause a leak this early in the game but you do you lol ... I'm always hungry buying try to drink when I get that feeling and it kind of passes I crave real food but I'm only 11 days out and if this is the small price I have to pay to get my healthily life then I gladly will pay ....

I mixed vanilla bean jello pudding and my vanilla bean protein powder with skim milk...it's DELISH!!! Whenever I crave something sweet I eat that. So I get my sweet fix and my protein!

Congrats to you sleeve twin! And thanks...I'll look up the premiere!!!

Isopure zero carb is very good. Got it at GNC buy 2 get one free. I am on day 5 post op and feeling great. Not hungry at all and I haven't taken any pain meds since day 3 post op. Good luck.

How are you doing? I'm tomorrow. Any tips for me?

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. The first few days after surgery were harder than I expected. Not from the sleeve Per de, but I think from a hernia repair that gave me such incredible reflux or heartburn I felt I was having a heart attack. Then I had some bladder issues and then slight fever and high blood pressure. It finally all turned the corner about 36 hours ago and feeling like I'm heading in the right direction. Heartburn still an issue but not as bad. The only down part is since feeling better I've gotten my appetite back and am hungry. I hope that changes when I can eat real food that fills me up quickly.

Let me know how your recovery is and I'll see if ther is anything I can offer in the way of advice. Hope all is well.

I'm home and last night and this morning have been tough. The radiating gas pains hurt so bad. It makes me cry. I almost vomited a couple of times. Once right after taking my liquid pain medicine. I'm praying for a speedy recovery. I'm not hungry yet. Good to hear back from you.

I just had mine sept 20 th it's been really hard on me

Hang in there Teppy

Lory,

I had to ask for a tablet pain med that I could crush (liquid made me vomit) I hide it in a tiny teaspoon of Greek yogurt. ( I know it's not clear but figured it is better than dry heaving my guys out) I'd also recommend gas x strips? Lots of walking, and a heating pad or microwaveable PEAS from The drug store. I put the hot PEAS pouch where I had gas and it helped. Good luck and I hope for some relief for you soon.

Sept. 17th was my surgery. Almost off liquids, 1st post-op visit Oct. 2nd. Feeling great, better than I have in a long time. Not really that hungry, in fact I have to make myself eat. My surgeon doesn't do the protein thing until starting pureed food so I've just been focusing on getting my fluids in. I'll have to step my game when starting pureed and solids. I think that's when it gets hard. Down almost 15 lbs. since surgery and couldn't be happier!
