Mixing jello with protein powder?

Recommended Posts

I've done it. I used fruit flavored Protein Powder and mixed it with the Jello powder, then made the jello. It didn't mix very well, but the taste was good. It was one of the few things with Protein I could get into me. I didn't try mixing the jello in with a shake. Yuck, sounds terrible.

Has anyone ever tried mixing the Jello powder with Protein powder?

I've tried mixing Protein powder in with the Jello as I make it but don't care much for it.

Just thought I could blend it in with my shake and add some flavor.

I bought 10 bottles of Isopure, 5 fruit punch and 5 melon. I didn't really care for the melon on their own so I've been using them to make my sf Jello. I just dissolve the jello in a 1/2 cup of boiling Water, add a 1/2 cup of cold water to bring the temp up and then add a cup of isopure that's been refrigerated. It tastes great!

Great idea! I'll definitely try this.

Okay when you add the Isopure rtd to the boiling Water, doesn't that go beyond the 140 degrees they say the cut off is?

I think it's a great idea just want to make sure it's going to mix okay.

I only use 1/2 cup of boiling Water to dissolve the Jello. When it's completely dissolved, I add 1/2 cup of cold Water. Then I add a cup off cold isopure. I've never had any problems with it. It's always clear.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
