I am five months out and have had them off the grill several times. I can only eat one of course lol... but yes. They go down pretty easily for me. I can pretty much eat anything except for eggs... eggs are very iffy for me...

There's no reason I can think why you can't have one. Get the boars head reduced fat brand and instead of the bun, use josephs low carb pita. I am not a fan of hotdogs personally and honestly don't remember the last time I ate one. My husband likes them and the board head have only 6 grams of fat

I eat them without the bun. I love the Boars Head spicy mustard. I just cut them in small bites and dip the darn thing! Yummy!!

I love hot dogs, and started eating them pretty early on after being released to solid food. I personally like the Hebrew national 98% fat free angus they are only 40 calories per dog, also ball park has a smoked turkey frank that I think is like 35 calories, none of them have any carbs. I usually just cut them and eat with a fork but have used the joseph's and aldi brand flatbreads, using about half a flat bread wrapped around a hot dog. Another idea I've seen is to wrap the hot dog in leaf lettuce, I personally am not a big lettuce fan so haven't done that. Also on a related note you can get several brands of turkey sausage which are like bratwurst that are like 90 to 100 calories for a fairly large brat. Good Luck.

No bun! It will take up too much room. I've had a Hebrew National 98% ff, but next time I will try a one with a bit more fat as I never meet my calories. I dip in an awesome mustard and next time I may add a bit of sauerkraut. Low sugar baked Beans will round out the meal!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
