I am five months out and have had them off the grill several times. I can only eat one of course lol... but yes. They go down pretty easily for me. I can pretty much eat anything except for eggs... eggs are very iffy for me...

There's no reason I can think why you can't have one. Get the boars head reduced fat brand and instead of the bun, use josephs low carb pita. I am not a fan of hotdogs personally and honestly don't remember the last time I ate one. My husband likes them and the board head have only 6 grams of fat

I eat them without the bun. I love the Boars Head spicy mustard. I just cut them in small bites and dip the darn thing! Yummy!!

Mmmm I can't wait to have one i l love them before my sleeve I just hope my sleeve love them now ,I use to love tuna and now my sleeve hates it I use to love Mexican food and now my sleeve hates it ,God I hope it likes hot dogs lol

I love hot dogs, and started eating them pretty early on after being released to solid food. I personally like the Hebrew national 98% fat free angus they are only 40 calories per dog, also ball park has a smoked turkey frank that I think is like 35 calories, none of them have any carbs. I usually just cut them and eat with a fork but have used the joseph's and aldi brand flatbreads, using about half a flat bread wrapped around a hot dog. Another idea I've seen is to wrap the hot dog in leaf lettuce, I personally am not a big lettuce fan so haven't done that. Also on a related note you can get several brands of turkey sausage which are like bratwurst that are like 90 to 100 calories for a fairly large brat. Good Luck.

Lettuce wouldn't be the same ,IM going to try a turkey hot dog on wheat bun and toast it in the oven and see what happens wish me luck lol

No bun! It will take up too much room. I've had a Hebrew National 98% ff, but next time I will try a one with a bit more fat as I never meet my calories. I dip in an awesome mustard and next time I may add a bit of sauerkraut. Low sugar baked beans will round out the meal!

Just had a delicious brat with mustard last night

I ate a half of a tamale at the Mexican restaurant with some guacamole and it was yimmy

I am not quite 2 months out and had a hot dog yesterday. I couldn't eat the whole thing but also had a few bites of baked beans. No bun with it.

IM so scared when it comes to trying new foods now ,I have been living of fish chicken and soups for the past 4 weeks I want something I use too love just not as much

Take a bun, put it in a glass of water and watch it grow. That's what it will do in your tummy. You will learn to love them without the bread. I make an awesome bread less Philly Cheesesteak. Yup. You read that right!
