when to expect the most weight loss

Recommended Posts

I'm almost 5 weeks out and can't work out until the full 5 weeks have passed. I have lost weight since pre op it has been really slow and I'm noticing I'm keeping a 2 pound difference of weight on me most of the time. I'm just wondering after my sleeve heals up and the swelling stops when can I expect to experience the most weight loss in my first year. To be truthful I may not be eating as much as I should and I get anxiety about the things I'm eating. I'm so tired of Powerade zero's and and crystal light at times doesn't really make me feel good after drinking it. To be honest even when I may nibble on some things I shouldn't be eating it doesn't taste good and I just try and stick with what I'm suppose to have but like most people carbs mess everything up for me. At times it seems like I'm going crazy because I had the surgery to assist me,and at 4 weeks and half I'm not feeling full as much as I used to. So after all my rants is there a certain time frame you can expect to see the most weight loss?

I haven't had mine yet but have started half liquid and half lean and green diet to help stop craving. I have a nutritionalist at my Dr's and can call for help if I get frustrated. Do you have a local support group you can go to? Stay on track and hang in there.

For me, my first six weeks was my most weight lose. I had my surgery in Dec. I am eight months out and went from size 22 to size 12. Everybody is different and will lose at different rate.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
