Leave My Food ALONE!

I cannot eat much. My stomach is the size of a Sharpie. I have to prioritize my intake. So, dammit, when I find a yummy AND nutritionally balanced AND sleeve friendly meal.... Leave my food ALONE!!!! Don't eat my leftovers. Let me enjoy it.

Why is it what I'm eating and/or rationing out is the most appetizing thing in a 50 mile radius to my family?!?!

And then I feel selfish and guilty for getting so annoyed. Like I'm being the greedy food ogre who never wanted to share?

Dang Amanda I'd steal the salted Caramel bar too! (I'm PMs again...)

Totally PMSing here too. The Skinny Cow ice cream bars are freaking awesome! Just ask my daughter...

Oh girls that is a whole other thread!!! lol those Cookies are deadly! I love them too much and have to make sure I don't eat them everyday they are high calorie but really big.. I think they are 170 calories per cookie! Two per pack.. Look at the evil man on the box! Lol.. he knows he has you hooked :Phttp://www.bariatricchoice.com/trioplex-bariatric-protein-cookies-chocolatechip-box.html

That is a pretty cheesy grin that the "Chef" has on his face. I don't think they are that bad for 18 grams of Protein. On those days when I have to have something sweet I've been eating Anna's cookie crisps or Biscoff's Lotus cookies. The only problem with these two choice is they have no nutritional value. The Anna's are 6 cookies for 133 calories, and 4 of the Biscoff's for 150 (I usually only have 2). Luckily there is only one week out of the month that I "need" to eat those, going to have to try the protein cookies!

Lol we always seem to be PMSing at the same time :P

I went to a specialty store today to pick up a few things and had to call my husband to ask him to tell me to walk away from a red velvet cake they had!!!

The bastard, said "oh you should buy it" :P

He's mocking us huh?? :P

Yeah when you look at it that way they do have value. They will fill you too.

I just have to be careful with things like that and Protein Bars. How many times I've almost bought a Quest bar just to put it back down as not to open that door too :D

Maybe it's a good thing we're on opposite sides of the country! I doubt one coast could handle two PMSing Sleevers like us in the same time zone!

I have a friend that is getting sleeved on the 25th of this month. I told her it can conquer everything but period hormones...I don't think there is anything that can overcome those except time or more surgery!

for me it sucks because I think I'm getting pre menopausal... So I never know when it's coming :(

Like this week I wanted to eat! I mean eat! It's like my sleeve "relaxes" and I can consume mass amounts.

I think uh oh there goes my restriction I'm broken!

Then the period comes and I go back to normal again??

For me it's not as much the cost as it is the inconvenience. I live 20 minutes from the closest store and order most of my goodies online. When my grown kids or grandkids come over and raid my stash I'm screwed until I either make a trip to the store or place an order!

I feel horrible, but I have started hiding my food, inside canisters, under my bed, in the back of my closet. I feel like an alcoholic or a drug addict.

Yeah see I have my own cupboard... It might as well have a "come on in" sign :P

Oh Amanda PMS sweet tooth!

I've been putting pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg and vanilla extract oh and stevia into my Greek yogurt!

Yummy and funny enough no one else in the house wants any?? :D

I am in the same exact boat. It is kind of like going back to when you first started because you are sure when to plan for it and it is a whole new hormone cocktail to get accustomed to....fun times!
