What i'm eating 5 days out

Today for breakfast I had 1 scrambled egg. Ate most of it went down well. Mushed it well. Lunch 2 -3 ounces egg drop soup . 1/2 hr later had the tiniest maybe 2 ounces of chicken and chewed really well. No problems. Snack 1 slimfast and a sugar free icepop . Dinner I had 2 ounces of mashed potatoes, with tiny pieces of chicken 1 ounce with a little gravy . Mushed it all up and went down ok. Today was like the day where it was easy to drink. I hope i'm not pushing it but its all on my list of mushy . In the hosp they gave us soup and then tuna . It was yummy !

I'm 5 days out. My dr believes that have food keeps everything open and trys to get people to eat in the hosp some soup and tuna. most other drs believe liquid is best because it gives all swelling time to heal. I guess I see both points of view. Today I was able to drink/ eat with no problems :) Hope your doing well!!
