I wish I could say I am doing a lot but that would be a lie. This cold will not go away. I tried dancing last night but ended up coughing badly.

I'm also dealing with my band being too full. I have to travel over an hour to my doctor and I have a call into them to hopefully get in Friday because I am off. So as a result, I can't get much of anything down, including Water. I am slowly drinking a Protein Shake this morning. The only upside to this is my weightloss; 2 pounds so far this week!

This is just a bump in the road and I will overcome it!!

Teresita... I got your back sister!!! You know it!!! I went to my monthly checkup with my lapband surgeon yesterday and I lost 7 more pounds since Dec. 19th which he said was amazing considering it was over the holidays. So I've lost 15 pounds in the past two months. He said I'm doing so well that I don't have to go back for 6 weeks. Yay!

Breakfast today: 2 slices of lightly buttered wheat toast.

I commit too! This is exactly what I needed. I was banded 12/19/06 and have not had a fill yet due to the ice and snow delaying my Dr.s appts.

I am hungry again and need to exercise more and eat less! Hopefully the weather will let up so I can travel tomorrow afternoon to San Antonio for a fill on Friday! I am going to get on my Norditrack!

Happy Wednesday to all!

:scared:

Today

Cucumber salad

5 milti grain crackers

2 carrots steamed

Cod fish fillet

69 oz of water

-did house work

I am hearing form all over the net that Protein and Water are of utmost importance for losing weight... I see you got the water in... but what about protein? From the looks of your list there isn't even close. I think we need from 65-78 (my dr says 78 for my weight).

Way to go Teresita!!!:clap2: I got your back, too.

Yesteraday's checkin:

Got all of my Water in

Took vitamin

Got all of my Protein in

I didn't make it to the gym yesterday, but I've already been once today and did 80 minutes on the treadmill. DH and I have an appt with a personal trainer at the gym tonight, so I'll get my second workout then. It's two a day for me!

I'm down 6lbs since Saturday. From now on I'm going to weigh only Monday mornings otherwise the scale will have total control over my attitude.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
