I just called the insurance (BCBSofAL) and was told I am approved!!!!! I'm so excited! It was mailed and received on July 18th and approved yesterday!!!!

Awesome!!! I have to wait for the surgeons office to receive the letter of approval and then the pre op nurse will schedule me to come meet the surgeon and get my date!!! Hoping for August!!! Good luck to you!!!

I'm actually in KY... The employer chose bcbs of al lol.. I'm not really sure why. Sorry for the confusion. But I will be having my surgery in Lexington, Ky. with Dr. Weiss
