Home from the hospital today. They kept me an extra day due to not being able to pee. Feel pretty good, just sore because of the hernia he fixed. I am getting hungry but not ravenous. I did gain 6lbs but that must be from swelling and Water weight. If anyone has any suggestions as to what to eat during the Clear Liquids stage other than broth, popsicles, chrystal light, G2, the usual would be greatly appreciated.

Surgery was Tuesday and I was released today. Surgery had no complications but because I was so nauseated I had to stay because I was not meeting my Fluid intake. Remember, sip, sip, sip.

I'm on September 23rd in San Antonio. I'm getting scared of who I'll see in the mirror a few months after surgery. I'm also getting excited.

I came home yesterday...I had the worst gas pain.....once I had bowel movement I started to feel btter. Gas x is my best friend. I am walking a lot and sipping slow. Started full liquid today. The premiere Protein Shake is really good. Also remember to move...the pain does get easier.

Im not thats just it LOL Ive only been getting in about 24 oz a day. I know my Dr doesnt expect me to come straight home and be able to go straight to drinking 64 oz a day. While in hospital I only had one bite of Jello, one sip of broth and one sip of crystal light at each feeding and had nothing at all my last meal there I was packing to head home and didnt even touch it! I know it will all come in time and Im not to worried at this point.Oh and by the way the worst part for me was where I had my surgery at they weigh you before you go home I gained 11 pounds while there due to all the fluids in the iv.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
