WARNING....THIS MAY BE TMI........

Need some input......I'm on day 1 of the clear diet protocol........and complete diarrhea......is anyone else having this?

I don't feel ill' date=' no temperature.......feels like when I did a colonoscopy.......everytime I drink, 5 minutes later I'm heading to the bathroom.....I'll call the dr's in the morning.....but wondering if anyone else is having this too.

Thanks![/quote']

Are you drinking too much artificial sweetener? Chewing too much gum? I had it the first day bad (but I also took a laxative in the morning) -- was better the 2nd day (only a little, once).

I had that problem too.. It's normal.. Because your basically cleaning out your system. Just keep hydrated and think of the goal!

I wished I had some travel wed mild mouthwash. The combo of ketosis and surgery left me with something less than a fresh mouth :)

And I promise you, I do actually know how to spell. Combo of autocorrect on iPad, and one day post op not a good one :)

PattGee, I am scheduled for surgery Thursday. Start my liquid pre op tomorrow. My dr told me to take milk of mag too. I thought he said tomorrow night, which is 2 days before surgery. How close to surgery do you have to take it?

I'd call them to verify it.....Mine told me to take it this afternoon (the day before surgery).

yamgirl.....the hospital should call you today to confirm the time.....wish I had no m.o.m. for me, too LOL

Wishing you all well....I'll probably be surfing again at 2 a.m. when I can't sleep because I'm too excited/anxious for tomorrow! Good luck everyone!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
