Anyone living in Las Vegas

Hi I'm currently living in Las Vegas for school. I'm 23, and 7 months post op . It doesn't matter how long you have been post op, I'm looking to make friends who have had the surgery so we can hang out, support each other and get to goal! :D

Hello ladies - my home town is Vegas but I'm out of town these next two weeks for work.

I need a shopping and work out buddy too. I was sleeved in Dec.

Ms. Cali I was also sleeved in DEC =)

Hi there' date=' going to be sleeved on August 8. I live in the centennial hills part of the valley. Starting to feel anxious-not sure what to expect![/quote']

Anxiety is normal!! The posts on here helped me tremendously!!

The biggest hospital tip I have for you is bring Chapstick. Even if you don't normally use it, bring it with you! Between the anesthesia and pain meds you'll be glad you have it!!

I thought I was ready for what was to come. I read and heard all the stories 100's of times. But when it came down to it I had my own journey to experience. When they say you can't eat more than a few bites - seriously it will be 3-4 bites at a meal at a time.

It's major surgery and for sure not the easy way out. You will have moments at first where you think WTF you did to yourself - its normal to feel that way - just remember to take it one day at a time. In a few months when you're thinner, with more energy, feeling better about your health, looking good in your new cloths - you will realize it was a good decision.

Good luck!

I was just sleeved on friday so I'm still getting used to it

Sweet!! Welcome to our city!! Make sure you gamble lots!! Haha

Was it hard to get through the liquid

Was it hard for me?! Yes. I battled a mean case of head hunger. But it is worth it!

Who was your surgeon?
