I'm banded and loving it...well most of the time

Just returned from Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Martinez and had a great experience. I'm feeling a little uncomfortable. I think it's that extra gas floating around in there, and I get the occassional pain in my left shoulder. I'm warming up the heating pad to see if that helps some. Any suggestions?

Tina, just move around as much as you feel comfortably doing. You'll probably notice different little aches and pains in various places for a while. But it does all go away. Walking is about the best thing to do. Just don't overdo it. Best of luck to you!

Tina, the more you move around, the better you will feel. You'll start feeling better with each day. Congratulations on your new band.

Walking really is the thing that helps the most. I know it's rough that first few times, but once you are upright and walking it definitely makes the healing go faster.

Make sure you keep the liquids going in too!

So glad everything went well and you're home! Please keep us posted as to how you're progressing.
