I am only on day 18 ( and was thinking about the "when" idea of tacos, but know that I canno have it annnnnnnytime soon).

Actually..... I've only lost 12 lbs and have stalled al-damn-ready....( for the past 5 days)..... So I guess all i NEED to eat are Protein drinks!

( feeling very discouraged & frustrated right now....)

Maybe that's why I was "dreaming" about tacos.......

Weird question. Has anyone tried to eat raw oysters on soft foods? Haha

I've had cooked oysters. A bit tough. Raw oysters are generally not chewed so I think it would be too big a chunk.

Are shrimp soft foods?

My surgeon classified them as a soft-solid food. I could have them in week four. Flaky white fish was considered a soft food on my plan and I could have it in week three. I had red snapper the beginning of week three and it was like heaven -- probably because it was at a really nice restaurant and the chef prepared it very well. I had no issues with fish (white flaky) and ate it often in weeks three and four. I still enjoy it about once a week but have moved on to other stuff as well now that I'm in week seven. :-)

I am allowed to eat shell-less tacos, I will be ten weeks out..... haha, make that taco with no lettuce, but I make up my little (very little pile)... sot seasoned turkey, cheese, small dollop sour cream, salsa..... but I decided not to eat this too much, it really is a trigger to wanting the actual shell..... must be because I went to TJ for the surgery, weird huh?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
