5 days post-op. Is this hungry feeling really gas?

I am 5 days post op and doing pretty well. Feeling great except when I drink it makes me feel 'hungry'. I am pretty sure it's gas like they told me in the hospital, but I want to know if anyone else feels that. Yesterday I felt great, but today I was bloated ALL day and very uncomfortable. Is that the norm?

I was starving! Or so I thought. Keep doing ur shakes and water. I caved and added Miso soup from my nutrition store. Low protein but I thought I was going to starve to death. Then boom not hungry loving my shakes then into mushy foods yummyyyy.

It took me quite awhile to figure out what I felt. I couldn't tell if I was hungry, gassy, full. I couldn't figure out my stopping point until it was too late. It just takes a while to learn your new tummy. Take it slow and keep up with the protein shakes and fluid.

Relieved to hear that. I don't know if I are too mych, not enough, if I need to walk, or stop walking. I just know my stomach hurts and don't know why! Frustrating...

Have any of you heard of "Raw Protein" it is a neutral tasting powder. It sounds great for a regular stomach but I'm not sure for a new sleeve. It has live probiotics and is sprouted brown rice protien. It says Raw,Vegan,Gluten free, dairy free.
