Is 2-3 ounces my normal

First of all, I apologize if this question has already been answered ... And would appreciate links if they are available. I'm five weeks out and can only consume about 2 to 3 ounces of food at one time. I feel full and am scared to eat more because I don't want to throw up or stretch my tummy. I am at about 500-600 calories. So is this my normal? Will it always be this way? And is it ok if I skip meals at times because I'm too too full from liquids? For example yesterday I only had lunch (3 soft meatballs with a little tomato sauce) and the same for dinner. Any suggestions would be good. I've heard I will stall or go into starvation mode- but that's all that I can do!!!

It finally clicked with me anot the protein. I read thru my guidelines from nutritionist. It said that my body has at that will convert to glucose to feed my cells....I have carbs covered. But I need protein or else my body will take from my own muscles...

Protein is for nutrition, carbs are for variety and enjoyment. I'm shooting for 20-30g protein a meal and my 64oz water/liquids. My calories are staying at 900. Scale finally moved today so it's working.

Denn, my nutrionist told me not to drink less than 30 mins before I eat... Some drs say an hour before. That might help you when it comes to time to eat. Good luck!
