Im able to but choose to sip still since im only 3 day post op

Three weeks out and still sipping. Sips are getting a bit bigger and closer together, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait to drink like a regular person.

I was sleeved 2 1/2 weeks ago & am thrilled to say i now can drink water like normal. I am so glad!

Go slow, let it heal, you will get there.

I was able to drink pretty close to normally since about 4 days post op... I'm 5 1/2 wks out and have had no issues. I don't chug, obviously, but I drink normally. I can also take normal bites from my food... I've only had indigestion once or twice, and it's usually from eating too fast, so I've been working on that..

Yep you will! I am almost 9 months post op and drink normally, sometimes even gulping! It will come, promise! Just keep drinking!

It will get a little better every day. I can now chug water just like I did pre-op :)

5 days post op- can drink larger "sips" everyday. Before surgery I was a gulper. I gulped wine like no other. Hahaha

It will be a few months, but all of a sudden, you'll drink like normal.
