June surgery dates

  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

Great job and good luck tomorrow :D

I'm feeling u ..I started mine today ..it gets better after three days is what I read and my daughter just went through it... are u on liquids only or can u have veggies?

I'm very lucky. I can have food! Low carbs. I had a protein shake this morning, sipped on grape frost isopure watered down all day and had a grilled chicken salad from Burger King, 10 glasses of water and 2oz. Of ham after I cycled 5miles in 30minutes. I don't feel deprived or suffering yet. Hope I can keep this up for the next 14 days!!!! Fingers crossed!

Scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. Sending good wishes to all my June 11 buddies.

Sending prayers for a speedy recovery!

I'm on day four of my pre op and I feel like hell

Stay strong and just try to remember it will be soooo worth the suffering. Sending {{{hugs}}} and prAyers! !!

Good luck to everyone being sleeved today! Praying for a smooth recovery for all!

I have to be at the hospital in a hour for my sleeve. I couldn't sleep because I'm excited and nervous. Thankfully I am the first case this morning :)

I will be sleeved tomorrow. Woke up today at 4 am with pain in my right leg from yoga's class yesterday night, I think is the tension! I do excited and lind of scared. Casually i learned last night that a neighbor ( my apt building is really small) had a bypass last month and was talking to her for an hour, she telling me about her post op. Of course the sleeve is not so invasive, but it's nice to have a WLS neighbor to whom speak. I will keep you posted. By the way i am beeing sleeved in Caracas, Venezuela.

Also pack a loose sundress and flip flops' date=' I found them very helpful[/quote']

That's what I'm wearing. :).

I report to the hospital at 12:30. Not bad. Hard time sleeping last night. Started having negative thoughts ( mostly about food), then started counting the reasons I am doing this ( no more extenders on planes, no worrry about fitting in booths, no more shopping for plus size, no longer unable to wear certain bracelets, more energy, able to wear all the pretty clothes in my closet that are too small, no worries going swimming, able to do charity walks/runs)
