June surgery dates

  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

Well I am home now and happy to be here. The surgery was pretty easy but the migraine that came with it was an absolute killer! Finally got medicine to help it and now I am sip sip sipping away. Not as easy as it sounds though. You have to keep at it all day long. Dehydration equals another trip to the hospital. So glad I did it and each day gets a little easier!! Good luck to the rest of you this month!!

Really nervous....fighting the hunger pains was hard. I actually broke down and took a bite of my fabulous homemade Mac & Cheese, chewed and sucked the flavor out, then spit it in a napkin:/ I have to say, that was the best flavor ever and it did satisfy the craving but I feel guilty now...I hope my cheating love affair with food doesn't complicate my surgery tomorrow... Now I'm really freaking out!!!! I've seen that some people didn't do the pre op diet. I did but had a few bites here and there...nothing more then a bite or two. I actually lost nine pounds like many others during this hard two weeks..

I've done great in the pre-op diet, down over 22 lbs so here we go! Good luck to those for June 10 and for those of us June 11 people good luck and see you on the flip side.

I just giggled at your post! "Dis' $h:t just got real!" Hung tuff!

I am still in amazement by this all. Tomorrow makes a full week since I've been sleeved. My body is still not in sync ( my mind says eat and the sleeve says no) but I will take one day at a time.
