June surgery dates
Looks like lots of stalls at 3 weeks post op. I am in the same boat. Surgery was June 11. Down 21 since pure op liquids. Currently on a soft food diet. Doing okay with food, especially after medication for reflux was prescribed. Thanks to EVERYONE for all the information and encouraging words. This is a phenomenal group!!

2 weeks post op and doing great! Walked almost a mile today with no complications. On a soft-food diet and trying to figure out exactly when to stop eating before I hit that too full feeling. (Eating very little - eyes are much bigger than stomach!) Trying really hard to change my ways. Any suggestions??

Good luck to all! Post-op soft food diet isn't too bad. It is nice to have some different flavors. Added GNC's Isopure Zero Carb 40 protein flavored drinks to my daily sipping. Flavors aren't too bad and it is better than all the shakes. It helps get all the proteins in! Looking forward to adding a variety of foods in about 3 weeks. Hope everyone has an easy road!!

I am on the full liquid diet right now. Hoping to start soft/smooth foods tomorrow after my post-op appointment. I feel I am ready to try real foods. What is your next food step?

I was thinking the same thing about my stomach. Guess I worry too much. Glad we and others are doing so well. Wish everyone could feel like I feel.

Question here...I was sleeved on the 11th. Have had no major pain issues and having no problem with getting the fluids down. Doc fixed a hiatal hernia at the same time. Anyone else not having fluid intake problems?

Down 10 since sleeved on the 11th! I think I am one of the lucky ones. I am not having any major problems getting the liquids down. I do have some upper chest/shoulder pain, but I also had a haital hernia. Not sure if the pain is from that or the sleeve. I am looking forward to some 'real' food soon. I have also gained most of my energy. Wishing everyone a speedy and easy recovery. Good luck to those being sleeved this week.

Wishing all of today's sleevers a smooth and easy surgery and recovery. I was blessed with a smooth surgery and am working on the recovery. Everything is going well. Hope to meet more folks on the other side :-)

Congrats to all the recent sleevers. Our journey begins now. My surgery went well and recovery is going great. I do admit that it is difficult to get all the fluids in when you are NOT hungry.

I am now on the other side, but want to share my experience. I was sleeved on the 11th. Doctor found a hernia while he was doing the sleeve so he fixed that too. My surgery was 7:30 in the morning and I was off of the morphine by 2:00.The only pain I am experiencing is from the hernia. My stomach is gassy, but that does come out:-) I am pleasantly surprised about how well I feel. I hope everyone has an easy time like I did! Now comes the journey of a lifetime. Post-op next week and hopefully will be able to more to next phase. Best wishes for all of the June Sleevers!!
