  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

When does the burping stop???

I wish I could burp! Only gurgles here. They hurt. :(

Surgery Monday! Clear liquids tomorrow. I'm freaking out. Any packing suggestions for the hospital stay??

I'm Monday as well. I am going to bring a robe, slippers, hair ties, phone, charger, laptop, small firm pillow to hold against my stomach while getting in and out of bed and to put between my stomach and the seatbelt on the way home. I will also be taking GasX dissolvable. I will wear my loose fitting clothes there and then just wear them back again. (With a pair of clean panties of course. )

So helpful reading about others journey for my time will be soon. On day 6 of my preop diet, doing pretty good headaches left and I'm finding out so much info on here...Glad everyone is doing well...

Thank you! That's pretty much what I was thinking. Didn't want to leave anything out. Good luck!

I went with my laptop and I did not open that thing not once

Yeah but I currently dont have internet at home so if I want to edit together and post my hospital YouTube video, I will need to use the hospital wifi. Lol

I was supposed to have my surgery this Monday, but has been pushed back till the following Monday the 17th. Still very excited and glad my doctor does not require and preop diet. Best to luck that are having surgery this week!

June 10th for me as well! Excited but scared also:/
