Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

So you had no issues when u got home? Sounds great! Sounds like you're happy and doinv well. Keep us posted!

Only issue I had was swelling of ankles an feet..which is normal..I just took it easy keepin feet up in air above heart.n today they are back to normal..as far as pain goes I only hurt when I try n get up frm a laying position.other then tht I feel great..!!!

My next project will be makin homeade protein meal replacement popcicles!! With my powder I have...my tummy seems to be satisfied by the cold ice chips they gave me at hospital..so think imma try this to make sure im getting my protein in!!

How u planning on making them and with what?

Sonic ice ROCKS!!!

Getting a little burnt out on water, beef broth & SF Popsicles. Need more clear liquid ideas for the next 5 days... Might try some Crystal Light or some Powerade Zero. Any other ideas????

Surgery Monday! Clear liquids tomorrow. I'm freaking out. Any packing suggestions for the hospital stay??

I didnt use anything I brought just my phone. All I could do was sleep..lol

For sure!!!!! Carmex or a really good kind....

Why the ankle and feet swelling? Did they say why that happens. Did You have a problem with it before?
