June surgery dates

  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

That's awesome! Hope you don't regret later not taking meds .

I'm with you on this... My date is also June 24th... Started my diet yesterday and have been starving... What type of diet are you on?!?

I'm on a liquid diet but can have low fat cream soups, protein shakes and Greek yogurt with no chunks of fruit. Plus sugar free Popsicles and Crystal light. I miss my caffeine.

Yes June18th

It was hard at work someone brought in Krispy cream donuts. I just drank my shake. So want this to work.

Good job!! I walked away from birthday cake for someone at work today!! I have NEVER done that but I start my pre op diet tomorrow and everyone at work knows about my surgery so I did not think cake would be a good choice, lol.

I am also on 6/26!!! I am in Tampa, FL.....CAN'T WAIT!!!

June 26th for me (:

Me too!!!

Hi there. After having my band removed in April (was adhered to my liver) I have been waiting 2 months for my sleeve and originally was booked in for July 9th. After putting on heaps of weight I begged my Dr to do my surgery earlier and was given June 18th which today turned into June 15th. So 3 more sleeps :-)

my Band was removed In march I had gotten infection In my port starting the process for the sleeve at 10:30 today SUPER excited

the Band was horrible did ur insurance approve of it

I am lucky to live in Australia and we don't have the same process here. As long as we have private health insurance and find a surgeon willing to carry out the surgery it is all good. I had my band for 5 years and had a bmi of 23 ...... until the little band decided to get a mind of its own and start playing up. I knew there was something wrong and am so glad that I went with my gut feeling and had all of the fill removed in January and then the band removed in April. Will be happy to fit back in my clothes again!!!
