June surgery dates

  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

daddypops - what do you mean?

Will mainly worried about the sutures

I'm 5 days post-op and 4 of my 6 steristrips have come off (I'm sure the doctor will take off the others at my follow up tomorrow). I took off the exterior bandages on Day 2 post-op and have had no complications; I'm even getting all of my liquid and Protein in! Life is good!

And, although I've read about drainage tubes here, I didn't have one. Spent one night in the hospital.

I got sutures and each on are glued but mine ssem wide open

Awesome!! I'm in Beaumont

Cool. How r u feeling?

Sleeved yesterday, home today from the hospital. Was not as bad as I was expecting. The worst part was the first afternoon. They have me loritabs which does not work on me so it took them awhile to get sumn different. I'm home now and trying really hard to get my 48oz of liquids down. Hope everyone else doing well!!

PAT is tomorrow...what's that like? They told me expect to be there for a good while.

19th here can't wait!! So excited!

Inwas there from 730 to 1230p for a bunch of nothing lol no blood test x ray ekg and direction of what to do before we get to hospital and rhings of that nature. ...and a whole lot of waiting......at least this is how it was for me

Today is day 2 of my pre-op diet...surgery on 6/26 in CT. I had one shake and water for breakfast...then all of a sudden threw up while blow drying my hair. It was about 30-40 mins after eating. Not sure what brought that on...hope it was just an one time deal...I have another 13 days of this. :-/

Good news...lost 1.6 pounds in 1 day of pre-op diet. Lol.
