I know it...I had a breast reduction some years ago and for some reason that didn't scared me as much. I am thinking about my internal body parts and I guess I don't want anything to happen to them. I don't know...

I know who you're talking about, she is nice!

I did this yesterday. I met with Dr Morton (nashville) yesterday, surgery date is the 20th and I was crying in the parking lot of the hospital to my husband asking him if this is the right thing. I wonder if everyone goes through this. I know it will work, I watched my friend go thru the surgery in Feb and know she weighs 130!!!!!!!! That has motivated me more than anything!!!!!!!!

Dr. Madan done my surgery last march and i love the results. I would do it again. No problems here. I live just south of memphis in southaven, ms.

I've decided to go ahead and go through with it. I hope doctor Madan will do the surgery...so far all those nervous feelings have subsided. So how do you feel? I'm hoping I will have my surgery at Methodist University Hospital, I DO NOT like the Med! How much have you loss? I have so many questions!

Yey! I am so glad you are doing it! I have been thinking about you. I am on my 2nd day of all clear liquids. My surgery is on the 20th. I am sooo ready!!!

What kind of insurance do you have or do you know if Medicare pays? Thanks Pat

Thanks Bexleygal! I am ready now...I go tomorrow for the upper GI test at Methodist University Hospital. Nicole said as soon as those tests come back she will give me a surgery date. How do you feel after the upper GI tes?

I wonder why I have to have the upper GI Test?

Hey Guys,

I had my band done 6 weeks ago by Dr Madan. I have done really well no problems, Lost 20 #s wish it was more:phanvan . I guess it takes time.

I had my first adjustment done last week :embarassed: OUCH, But at least I am not starving in 3 hours.

My problem is that I can pretty much eat anything I want so i am struggling to keep the fat girl inside me from taking control and eating things I shouldn't. Any suggestions anyone?
