Thanks! I can do this I just needed some encouragement and know how!

measure your food and don't guess!

I will be 7 months post op on the 2nd of May and I can also eat a lot of food............not all at once but over the course of the day I can consume a lot of cals. I met with my NUT Friday and she told me to stop counting calories and to focus on eating 3 meals per day about 1/2-3/4 of a cup each meal and to eat two snacks a day 1/4 cup. I've been doing what she said and yeah it's hard but so far I've been doing awesome. My problem has always been grazing, so for me its come down to being mindful of the fact that I'm mostly having head hunger and I need to get my body on a schedule. I have no idea how many cals I'm eating but I'm guessing it's around 600-900 cals. She wants me to eat healthy carbs because my brain needs it in order to function properly. It is hard to reduce your calories, especially this far out but I noticed that the first 2 days were the hardest but now it's pretty easy. Also seeing the scale start to move again keeps me motivated :) Good Luck! You CAN do this
