Serious question seeks serious answer!

I've always liked bigger, taller guys....John Goodman style as someone else mentioned. Funny however, that my last significant relationship was with a guy who was only two inches taller than me, and a good 75 pounds lighter. He was a total gym rat, and even thought he was fit, he wasn't musclebound. Unfortunately he died of cancer two years after we met, and I haven't dated seriously since. But send a good large and tall man my way and I'm happy.

I am very curious as to why BBWs don't like to date larger men? One time in my search for an answer I came across a woman who told me that 2 big people don't seem right. Whatever the hell that means. So now that I am on this site I thought I'd ask. I really am wanting to get a serious answer. This just isn't a couple of women I've met or just something that has happened to me but I've noticed a trend of this everywhere. Hell a lot of dating sites have lots of bbws wanting tall slender men or something of the sort. I've always loved larger women yet I've never dated one. Makes no sense to me. Thanks in advance.

I've never considered myself a BBW just because I feel weird about that term.. Anyways I love love big guys don't get me wrong muscly guys are sexy to look at but hefty guys are fun to cuddle with. Besides I've never met a fat guy who had a skinny one lmao and that's my favorite..:)

As a former BBW...being with someone fat just reminded me that I was fat. It was like forcing me to look in the mirror (which I hated ). Now at 130lbs overweight men are more attractive to me. Not obese as I could never ever respect someone who constantly made bad choices. I know it all seems counter intuitive

I would love me up a big hunka handsome. But worry about their health. Ex is 6'4" and.about 280. The weight is killing his knees.

I'm one of those BBW. I'll have to admit that I am primarily attracted to athletic body types in men. But I'm also the type that is drawn to the opposite of myself even in regard to personality and interests because I enjoy learning from my mate. I also like guys who are of a different ethnicity or nationality. I have found that some bigger guys have a hard time keeping up in the bedroom as do I sometimes due the extra weight I've put on. The bottom line is that everyone has their "type" that they go for.

I have never really chased big men. And when I was big no one really chased me. Now that I'm "normal" again I have guys hitting on me quite a bit. It goes both ways. Either people like em big or they don't.

To me, before surgery I was with a variety of partners and it really depended on the people. I definitely did not want to be fetishized at all that was my biggest thing. Now after surgery I tend to date people that are thinner, ansd fitter I would say. Again to me it is just about who I click with. My biggest obstacle is finding someone taller than me which is one thing that I seem to be unwavering about.

I'm a BBW (well, big, idk about beautiful) that is insanely attracted to tall fat guys. Like John Goodman status. I'm 5'10" and I've always been very fat in an area where most people are both shorter than me and skinnier by a good chunk. I've never really felt feminine and always kind of feel like a freak. Being around a guy that is both taller and heavier than me makes me feel like an actual woman instead of an awkward Amazon, which is such a rare feeling because in my area there are very few men that match that profile.

My only boyfriend was 6'4" and weighed 160lbs when I weighed 270. I always felt like I was going to snap him like a twig and was constantly self conscious about it.

You are beautiful, wish I was taller. lol

It's hard finding a woman who likes big men, not tall just big. Dating sucks because of this. Thankfully I am on the losing side now so we shall see what comes my way.

So, I just saw this post and I think I'm a little late to reply, but I feel like I personally have a very specific type. I'm not into skinny dudes, I like muscular men, preferably 5'9-6'1, who can easily, umm, toss me around. ;) So, when I was bigger I was still attracted to the same kind of men I'm into now, they just tend to like me a little better now, lol.

I actually find myself attracted to larger men. It's harder to meet them than you might think! And guess what? Most of them prefer to date thinner women.

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
