For Protein I'm going to keep the unflavored protein on hand in the hopes that I can at least boost the protein in yogurt or Soup if needed.

I bought some hydrolized Protein that goes in Water and turns into more of a juice. Three scoops has 60 grams of protein. You're getting your water and protein all in one

On phone. Lots of typos.

I guess I'm fortunate in that I can eat almost anything. I focus mostly on meet and cheese, cheese and meat. Then eggs or eggbeaters. Today I might try cottage cheese again, but I find it quite boring.

Here is what I ate yesterday. Portions are very small. I don't eat bread or Pasta becaise 1) not a gold source of Protein, 2) it just seems like a filler food to me and 3) it makes me crave more carbs and I don't need that. Not yet anyway.

My goal is

600-800 calories

60+oz fluids

64g + protein

Less than 60 carbs.

That's not to say that Ieet those goals but that's my plan. I still don't get 64oz fluids and I don't think I've made the protein very often. I don't love Protein Drinks, I'd rather chew my calories and my protein, so I'm trying to get in a lot of that.

I know it's hard and I am certainly not perfect when it comes to getting my Protein and Water levels met every single day, BUT it is so important!

I had a couple of days last week where I barely hit a few cups of water and I was dizzy and lightheaded the entire time. Push those fluids! I know it sucks to feel like all you do all day is drink but you've got to try.

I start my mornings with a 30g Protein Shake and do my best to get at least 60g total. I have to say, more is better, though. :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
