Has anyone heard of or used Isopure? I'm talking about the liquid drink that comes in fruity flavors. If so, what do you think of it? And what is your favorite flavor? I picked up icy orange and am excited to try it!

I like the punch. I wish I had known about this at the beginning. So much better than all those powder Protein that I tried.

I like Isopure. Low carb, high protein....I just don't care for the grape flavor.

I tried the Isopure and it was yucky. I had to doctor it up(with crystal light drops) to choke it down. Still have the other 1/2 a bottle in the fridge glaring at me.

It had a really off taste, like a funky tang.

I hated it. Won't buy again.

I can't stand any of them!! I made the mistake of buying a case preop and then couldn't stand them postop. I wasted $55

As with any Protein drink I would try not to buy too much stuff preop. Your taste may change, like mine did.

Try the Premier Protein. Available at costco. It has 30 gms Protein in 11 ounces.. It is ready to drink. No mixing and it tastes the best.

I drink 8oz of the Isopure grape first thing in the morning to get my day started. I'm 7 months out. One bottle lasts 2 1/2 days and I just drink it while getting dressed for work and I get 15g of quick Protein for only 60 calories!

To me it has a dry aftertaste kind like drinking cranberry juice. Does that make sense? But the flavor isn't bad...it's just a matter of your taste buds!

Its gross and the aftertaste is pure whey, like it tastes the way milky baby vomit smells.

LOL I bought a case also and I new before I bought it what it tasted like. After surgery I opened 1 bottle mixed it with Water and crystal light and could not finish it. My husband likes them so I am giving them to him, he will be sleeved in June.

I bought two of the ready made bottles today..mango peach and blue raspberry. I have been able to gag down half of the mango peach one. The initial taste isn't awful but the aftertaste is bitter to me and so terrible. I'm really disappointed because I'm having a hard time getting all of my Protein in. I was hoping the Isopure would be tolerable as I can drink regular fluids just fine, at two weeks post-op, but thicker drinks are harder.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
