Every ache and pain in my lower body...

... is DVT. I've been getting these twinges or aches in various spots on my hips or legs and its got me convinced its blood clots. Then it goes away. Then another ache or twinge elsewhere. Which my brain convinces itself the clot is mobile. Help! My brain is my enemy.

The symptoms of a blood clot is swelling and pain in the area of swelling. An example would be a DVT in the calf would have swelling and pain In the one calf but not the other. That you are having twinges that go away and no seeking in the extremities, does not seem to be a clot but rather muscular spasms or arthritic type symptoms.

I'm not laughing at you...I'm laughing with you. I have woke up the past couple days with a headache, yesterday I had myself all worked up cause "what if it's a blood clot in my brain?" The headache went away so I'm pretty sure it's all in my head!! Tomorrow is 4 weeks since surgery so I'm hoping I'm getting past the point where that could happened...if not, don't tell me!

That is normal! Your body is getting better nutrition that its been missing for a long time and things are coming Back to Life!! = )

I went to the hospital the other day thinking I had a blood clot. My leg had so much pain and my knee was very swollen. They do an ultra sound on you. I didn't have a clot but they don't know what is wrong with my leg. They wrapped me and sent me home on crutches.
