I'm a big zero again this week. I'd love to do Red Robin. I'll be in Seattle on the 16th, but am available on the 9th...or any Tuesday or Thursday.

Let's see - i was a big fat ZERO again two weeks ago (forgot to report), and then down 1.2 this week, so that's a little better.

Patty- I am sorry to hear about the Hep C diagnosis. I REALLY hope it's a false positive.

Marie - sorry about your flappy arms. My boobs are really flappy right now. I could definitely achieve flight with these things. And my upper tummy flap has now covered up my belly button, while my lower tummy flap hangs down and covers, well, other stuff. Yuck. BUT, I am scheduled for surgery on Sept. 9th. Paid my deposit today. YAY!

Deb, love your cash for chemo sale. That's fantastic. What a grand idea! We could have Loot for Lipo, Pesos for panniculectomy, Bucks for Boob Lifts . . . yeah, the possibilities are endless. wow, maybe I've had too many adult beverages this evening . . .

So my poor little 10 week pregnant daughter and her hubby were rear-ended quite violently on Saturday. Jess was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The ultrasound of the baby looked fine (s/he waved at us!), and her neck x-rays were negative. She's having a lot of pain and stiffness now and has some tingling in one arm. Yuck. Their car is totaled, and they owe more on it than it's worth. What a mess.

I will be leaving Wednesday to take a group of students to Berkeley to present at a research conference, then get to go see my grandson in Chico for four days! yay!! Then home to prepare for my surgery. Wild!!!

I would love to join you all at RR. I really could use a shot in the arm from you all. Just being around you all and see your smiling faces and laughing. Dee you are my inspriation.

Smiling faces? Laughing? Oh no! Those things won't be happening. Red Robin doesn't allow that kind of behavior!

just kidding Girlie! We'd love to have you with us! I adore you Missy! I'm sending you a big hug for a good day tomorrow! I'm believing the best will happen!

I Love you Lots, My Darling Patty!

I'm sorry to hear about your Dear Daughter and her Hubby! I'm glad the baby is okay! I loved my daughter's first ultrasound! She was sucking her fingers! The same two fingers she sucked after she was born! It was so cute! We have babies born all the time with 'sucking blisters' on their hands and arms! The parents often tell us they saw the baby doing that in the ultrasound! I hope your daughter feels better soon! Tell her to take care of herself and not to overdo it. Her body needs to heal. Those soft tissue injuries are evil.

I love your idea about Money for Massive Skin Removal! I wonder if I could start selling my stuff! I have started packing. Hopefully, I can downsize before I leave for my surgery!

I can't wait for your surgery! It's so exciting! You have to post all the details! AND pictures too!

Patty, forgot to tell u how inspiring your slide show is...can hardly believe the woman i met in denver was the woman in those early pix..you r sooo beautiful...so youthful looking.

dee, remember that "groovy" t-shirt i bought at estes park head shop--orange-yellow sun on front/blue-purple moon on back? i washed it and it has now become my favorite shirt! it will always remind me of u, our little road trip, my great time in denver!

hope next time i come back (nov.?) everyone will be around to do the RR thing. by the way,am into my third week of PT for my "people-mover" injury. still is incredibly painful...we leave next week for our annual Ashland (Shakespearean festival) trip. walking will be tough. hopefully our 25th anniversary trip to provincetown, mass. won't be adversely affected.

Deb! I do remember that groovy tee shirt! AND Missy when you come back in November I hope we can hit the road again and go to the Casino! Spend a lot of your money and enjoy each other's company! I loved our little road trip!

I can't believe that horrible people mover did such evil things to you! When I was at the airport recently, I was so afraid to use that thing! I just looked at it from afar... filled with fear -- for I remembered your incident!

Do you have a date for your November visit? I'll be in Cali and NM the 9th - 18th. Please tell me you're coming out before or after.

Then backfill the time it takes to travel to blackhawk and we can figure out departure time. now what kind of gaming does this place have? penny slots? drinks? food? you know, the necessities!

Lots of penny slots...and other denominations up to $100. They also have blackjack, poker, craps and roulette. It's a cute town with a bunch of different casinos. It takes an hour to drive there and a little bit longer to drive back because of traffic at that time of day.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
